Production Diary 20 – Shot list and altering shot type in music video

I completed a shot list which included the details of each shot in my music video. For every shot I noted the type of shot it was e.g. close up, a description of the shot e.g. lip-syncing with props as well as the timing of it in the music video e.g. 0:00-0:26. This then gives a brief outline of my music video which is handy to use if I wanted to change the variation of the shot type for example.

After completing the shot list, it had helped me to change some of the shot types as I had little variation throughout the video. I looked though my music video and changed some of the shot types so that all close ups were about the same size and all mid shots were the same so that there is a clear distinction between the two type of shots.
